Mikey falls asleep in his jeans, but he's awake enough to put his phone on the bedside table.

His phone buzzes when the streets outside are quiet and the moonlight is filtering in through his bedroom shades.

At first Mikey doesn't hear the buzzing, but then he wakes up and grabs his phone.

Texts. From Pete.

its 3am i must be lonely

Mikey looks at the time, bewildered. It's only a little past one in the morning.

His phone buzzes again, and this time it's behind the hatred there lies a plundering desire for love

That one Mikey knows. Pete is sending him lyrics in the middle of the night.

The next is ur everything i hoped for ur everything i need

Mikey sighs and rolls over in bed, taking his phone with him, curled in his hand.
